Using a diversity of performed confessions and online sharing practices, the artists address the overexposure of intimate everyday life. Some of the artistic explorations of these intimate scenes are celebrations of how easy it is for people to offer their private lives to others; other artists in this exhibit denounce the individual and corporate acts of privacy violations. The diverse projects are aligned in a way that problematizes and forces a dialogue between two opposing but interdependent poles: (1) the individual control exerted on intimacy and privacy; (2) the inherent lack of control in the practice of online sharing.
