Nnedimma Nnebe (Montreal)
Nnedimma Nnebe is a raving black woman and scientist. Everything she does or that interests her is guided by these two distinct identities and the ways they overlap and interact. Afrofuturism gives her a venue through which she can ground people of African descent in science and technology and ascribe onto them active roles. She is a graduate student at McGill University and her research focusses on food technology/safety and food security, especially the needs of women of childbearing age and young children.
