Artists :: Nanobot Auxilliary Ballet
(Quebec)
Closing Concert :: Bitbang (Saturday,
Febuary 8th, 9:30 p.m.)
Assembled in the Fall of 2001 during crash collision between two inanimate
objects, namely The Dorkestra and Pest 5000. Both parties have received
numerous accolades from international press and media. At their best
between the temperatures of 15-25 degrees Celsius. There are no winding
or batteries needed, just a constant source of 110V and an ample source
of lubrication.
Principal Dancers
Patricia Schmidt, aka "The White Hot Funkbot"
is the resident manual low-end frequency generator and mid-range musical
spokesperson of the troupe. Her detection skills and quality control
are the backbone to any company. Frequently heard over transmission
devices late at night.
Kevin Komoda, aka "Kevlar The Pushbutton Mas-Tah" is a technical
manipulator of all analog units containing knobs, buttons and keypads.
His immense knowledge of irrelevant musical trivia and score has rendered
him completely useless in the recent world of the media, but has made
him invaluable in the film and television world.
Lewis Braden, aka "The Chill-Bot Slider" is better known
as a DJ-bot who encourages humans to dance. His immediate recall information
abilities and keyboard manipulation are invaluable to the NAB. He is
also known as "Luv", for obvious reasons. One finds him ften
covered in cat hair which assists in his musical arrangement abilities.
Secondary Dancers
Roland McBob, Juno 6, David Eden Amplification,
Acetone, Marshall Amplification, Ibanez Roadstar, Moog Prodigy, Ikea
Lamps, Mirrorball, Acrylic Carpets, TV Tables, Magic Markers, Casio
Electronics, Shure Microphones, Rat Pedals, Boss Distortion, Greek Buck,
The Group Of N, Beaster and Behringer.
