Artists :: Mylena Bergeron (Quebec)

Mylena Bergeron’s studies in composing and singing at McGill University in Montreal provided the artist with a solid foundation, the capacity to tolerate assaults from her imagination, and the most remarkable changes. Her latest works on Chronopée CD (1)—which came out in June 2002—on Montreal’s ORAL label, link live sound and digital dexterity with sensitivity and brio. The result is refreshing, unique and calls for repeated listening. The Chronophée CD (1) is Mylena Bergeron’s first production on compact disk. This "calling card" was given a magnificent reception by lovers of innovative sounds. The new composition, "Les chevaux" which she played at the VOLT-AA (04), is part of a new generation of musical works. The studio version should be available on her next CD, also produced by ORAL.
