Annabelle Chvostek
studied Interdisciplinary Fine Arts at Concordia University, and is nurtured by the worlds of cabaret, dance, music, spoken word, and new media. Over the past year, Annabelle has been commissioned for compositions from a number of New York choreographers (Jean Vitranno, Aviva Geismar and Karen Bernard). She created music for the Montreal women’s choir Chœur Maha, in a live, site specific performance/ broadcast/intervention to commemorate the women of the December 6th massacre. She recently appeared on Brave New Waves as part of the Radiotopia netjam for Ars Electronica 2002. Annabelle is working on a new album for release this spring.

Anna Friz is a sound and radio artist, curator, and theremin enthusiast. She has produced and curated numerous original works for ORF Kunstradio (Austria), Danmarks Radio, CBC, and campus/community stations such as CiTR Vancouver, CKUW Winnipeg and CKUT Montreal. Since moving to Montreal, she has performed in audio and multi-media events with Studio XX, Videographe, Silophone, Winnipeg's send + receive festival of sound and the Akademie der Künste in Berlin. She was co-curator and artist for Radiotopia at Ars Electronica 2002. She is a founding member of the Thereminions Theremin Orchestra, and plays in Central Dispatch together with Annabelle Chvostek and others.
