I am a multimedia soundscape artist, writer, teacher and researcher who creates CD ROMs, gallery installations, websites, radio art, and concert pieces. As a PhD candidate in Music at York University, I am creating a CD ROM dissertation about Vancouver soundscape composer Hildegard Westerkamp. My works are available online, and on CDs produced by the Canadian Electroacoustic Community, Terra Nova (MIT), Musicworks, and Entartete Kunst. |
| Soundwalks The site documents soundwalks that I have done since August 1997. The present incarnation includes a soundwalk in Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, with soundscape composer Hildegard Westerkamp, as well as soundwalks from the Open Ears Festival in Kitchener, Ontario, May 1998. Upcoming additions will include university campus soundwalks (York and Queen's) as well as a downtown winter soundwalk in Chicago (miXing festival of women sound artists). |
